- At this time I would only buy the ProClass line of modems from Practical
- Peripherals. The "Practical" low-cost (low-end) modems, such as the PM288
- series, is now made in Canada instead of the US, and is "missing" certain
- commands and features that the PM288 series had only a couple of months
- ago. Folks are making a LOT of noise to PPI on their CIS forum about this.

- The ProClass line appears to be a better choice, but you'll pay $250-$270
- for a 28.8 model as opposed to under $200 for the "Practical" line.
